While renovating our facility, the Foundation saw an opportunity to enrich students’ learning with a captivating garden—a therapeutic space fostering skill development, introducing diverse foods, and symbolizing growth supported by educators, parents, and the community.

Crosby, a student at A.L.L. and grandson of the founding family, was asked, “what would you call this garden space?” He spelled out – “The Healing Place.”  Rightfully so.

Timely completion was imperative due to the project’s location, ensuring the safety of our guests and students upon the facility’s opening Late Fall 2024.

Total Cost $25,000.
